Technical Training and Certification Program (TTCP)
The Technical Training & Certification Program (TTCP) has worked hard to restructure our training this season to minimize contact due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. As COVID-19 numbers have increased dramatically in Iowa, we are now taking additional steps in how we deliver the program for the safety of our students and staff.
All RECERTIFICATION classes for the 2020-2021 training season are cancelled. If you have a certificate expiring on 12/31/20, please complete the free, web-based review in IowaDOTU for that certificate and it will be extended to 12/31/21. If you do not complete the free, web-based review, the certification will not be extended. Instructions on registering for and completing the free, web-based certification reviews are available at https://iowadot.gov/training/web-based-training. The only exceptions are Prestress recertification class, which due to a very small number of participants will proceed as scheduled, and Nuclear Gauge recertification, which is web-based and will be available January 1st - March 31st.
If you have already registered for a recertification class, your enrollment will be cancelled automatically. If you have already sent payment, your payment will be returned or refunded. Please allow us some time to process this, as there are large numbers of people affected.
CERTIFICATION classes will continue as scheduled at this point. The TTCP will continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation in Iowa. Future adjustments may be necessary. Please check this web page for announcements
